Praise God For His Blessings!

We
started our “Debt Free in 3” campaign in January 2009, and
have already made a dramatic reduction in our debt this past
year!
Due to the wonderful response of 56
individuals, 6 organizations, and 9 churches, we received
$54,356.00 in donations in 2009!
Because of their generosity, we have eliminated the
following items from our outstanding debt:

John Deere for mowing & grounds maintenance
●
Trailblazer for off-site transportation
●
Maintenance Pick-Up Truck
● Kubota 4x4 for
traveling to our wilderness areas |
Our starting debt was about $333,000. By
the beginning of 2010, we had reduced that amount to $264,000.
A major drop in debt by $69,000 in one year’s time!
We are so thankful for all who have pledged their continued
support for the next 2 years, but we still need additional pledges
to accomplish our goal of total debt elimination!

The remaining balance of $264,000.00
is still owed on our Leadership Development Center. This building is
very critical to our camp facilities because it provides the
Following benefits:
● New summer
programs
● Indoor concert facilities
● Indoor recreation for winter programs
● Opportunities for winter retreats
● Leadership conferences and workshop
space
This building has been a blessing to our camp and has
enhanced activities and our capabilities of making our sessions more
successful.

Working Together To End Our Debt
Our camp is completely funded by the
generous gifts of our supporters. We need
to reduce our debt so
we can add more benefits for our campers in the future.
If
you have not pledged your support to this worthy fundraiser, we ask
each one of you to pledge your financial help so we can be
Debt Free by the end of 2011!
Fulfilling the Vision
We are asking all friends of Hanging
Rock and all churches who use HRCA to join us
in this endeavor.
We need more commitments of financial support to be given on
a
monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly or other basis for the next 2
years.
Systematic giving allows for an individual
to plan for their gift over time, and can increase the potential of
giving a larger gift.
If 220 additional people pledged
$30.00 a
month for the next 2 years, our debt would be gone.
Better yet, if an extra 200 people gave $80.00 a month for 1 year,
we would be “Debt Free” in 1 year!
A commitment
should only be that portion which is over-and-above
what you are presently giving to Hanging Rock. This
will enable
the camp to calculate the
“new” income it will receive for this
continuing campaign.
How do I know how much to
commit?
Your commitment should
be a spiritual
decision and made only after prayerful
consideration. God may
lead you into making a commitment from a source that is not yet
known to you.
Can I make a one-time cash
contribution?
Yes, we welcome all financial help you are
able to give. However, the campaign is continuing for the next two
years, and you may consider giving that amount each year.
